Hi

Could someone tell me what these symbols are called and how to remove
them (not the 't's')? I've forgotten!

Non printable characters (Carriage Return)?

Assuming Outlook 2007 (since you don't tell us what you're using), click
Format Text - then look for a button with a character just like the one you
ask about.

Press Ctrl+Shift+8 to toggle them off and on.

The backwards P are paragraph marks - aka pilcrows
