Default Label for imported Outlook holidays

Hello all,

Exchange 2003 SP2/Outlook 2003.

We modified the outlook.hol file so that it contains the days our
company will be closed in 2009. The file has been copied on each
user's workstation, and each user has to importe the holidays in his/
her Outlook.

Question is : is it possible to add a label during the import ? Or to
change the status/create a custom status ? In this way we could easily
see in the weekly/monthly view which days are off, without needing to
modify each item individually.

Thanks !

Luuke

you can't create a custom status.

users would need to add a label to the holiday later.

See http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/holidays.htm#company for other
methods.

Default Label for imported Outlook holidays

HI Diane,

I wanted to use the transmit holiday.oft form, but Outlook (2003)
cannot open it (custom form could not be opened) and opens it with a
default form.

Any idea ?

Thanks.

Diane,

More infos : I was able to open the .oft via Tools, Forms, choose
form; I was then able to publish it to the organizational forms
library; I created my custom holiday, saved it, clicked to use it, I
was able to enter the year, but then, the debugger has started, error
message is "The property "Subject, Start, End, AllDayEvent, Remind..."
is unknown". Should I update the script as these commands/variables
could not be understood by Outlook 2003 ?

Thanks again.

Luuke
