Default go back to the most recent email received after search

After a search in Inbox an old email will be highlighted. Apart from
scrolling to the top of the list is there a simple way to get back to the top
of the Inbox and show either the Today Group Heading or the the most recently
received email?

Yes, hit the Start key. If you want to go the other way to the end, hit
the End key.

On English keyboards, that would be "Home", not "Start".

I stand corrected. I have Spanish keyboards and just did a translation
of "Inicio".
