Default outlook 2007 migration

HI all,

I've just opened an account on a hosted Exchange provider and migrated
my old PST file from the previous account. The mail client is still
Outlook 2007 SP1, and the migration went absolutely fine.

Just a couple of question:

1) where are my auto-completation files that helps me when I was
looking 4 an old mail address? and where are my coloured labels
assigned to my mails? Is there any way to copy these pieces of infos
from the old account to the new one?

2) Apart from migration issues, I noticed that Outlook 2007 put ALWAYS
the OST file in the directory such as "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local
\Microsoft\Outlook" , is there any possibility to have ALL those files
put in a different dir WITHOUT recreating all the profile?

TIA to all the ppl who will spend their time answering my Q's. Thanks.

Have a nice day,

Luca

It's the NK2 file located in the (hidden) folder %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook

For OL 2007, I believe there are no colored labels any more. It's done with
colored categories. Those are kept in the default data store - the Exchange
mailbox or a PST, whichever is the delivery location. I don't know of any
way to export the entire list and re-add them to another Outlook instance.
However, if you've moved your messages or other items from the PST to the
Exchange server, the categories should have gone with them, since they're
connected to the items. Did you use the "Upgrade to Color Categories"
option on the new delivery location?

Google is your friend. The very first entry for the search "+outlook 2007"
+move +ost" leads to this:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Moving_your_OST_in_Outlook_2007 You can either move
the existing OST and point the mail profile at it, or you can simply
indicate a new location and name for the OST and let Outlook create it
afresh when next you connect.

thanks for your time and your answer,
where can I find this option for the delivery?!? Incidentally, I just
copied all the messages from the old pst to the new ost straight but
maybe the information is still in my messages and I can recover it an
reconstruct all the categories based on the colors.

have a nice day!
