Default Outlook 2007 can't use with Exchange in Vista Home

Hi everyone,

I was given a PC configured with Vista Home Basic and Ms Office 2007.
Outlook successfully recognizes the Exchange server (version 6.5). I
can log on successfully and read my mails in the Inbox but can not
create and send new messages! The menus for creating new items incl
mail, calendar, journals, tasks are disabled !?, My PC is not a part
of the domain as I read that Vista Home can not join domain. What can
I do here? Exchange does not allow IMAP.

Thanks,

IG

Did you activate Outlook? If so, I'd start with a new profile or at least
delete the account and recreate it.
