Make sure the rule ends in a Stop Processing action.

In the list of actions you can perform in a rule there's an action "Stop
processing". Add it to the list of actions that the rule performs.

The "Stop Processing action" is used to stop processing additional rules once
a rule has satisfied a condition on an incoming email.

I hope that answers your question.

I had the same problem... just go back into the rules and edit the rule...
what happened is you chosed to "move and copy to folder" option rather just
"move to folder".

Ihope that helps you!,
