i'm trying to export my address book in OL2000 but having problems
doing so. FILE IMPORT & EXPORT EXPORT TO A FILE COMMA SEPARATED VALUES (WINDOWS) when clicking NEXT after doing the above i do not get a list of folders to export from...the screen is blank. the same is true for all of the other choices (excel, dbase, etc). OL2000 is part of MS Office Professional install and i have run the office repair utility from the control panel. i have searched the MS knowledge base and can find nothing on this subject. the OS here is WInXP Pro SP2 with all critical updates. this is a split install of OL2000 in that the program files are on one partition of the hard drive while the PST files are on another. any suggestions on how to remedy this situation? 73, rich, n9dko |

You should never use export and import to transfer Outlook data.
There is no address book in Outlook. All Outlook data is stored in one file. The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored. Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup or transfer: http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm http://www.howto-outlook.com/Howto/backupandrestore.htm http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...771141033.aspx -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Rich" wrote in message ... No list ever included an address book. Your other folders should all appear,
however, if your Importers and Exporters are installed and if your profile is connected correctly to its data source. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Rich" wrote in message ...
