Default How do I send a photo in email at a particular resolution?

I have been requested to send a photo at a "resolution" of 300.
How do I determine resolution when attaching a photo to Outlook?

Use your preferred graphics program and open the graphic. Then save a copy at the
requested resolution and subsequently attach the modified graphic to the email.
