[Running Outlook 2003 on a new XP Pro SP3 installation]
I helped a colleague retrieve her Outlook PST file from a backup this morning and install it onto a new computer, and while it's picked up her old emails and calendar, there's a glitch with the contacts, in that Outlook displays the contacts when one click on the appropriate button in the left column, but if she opens a new email and clicks on the "To..." button, she gets the following error message: "The address list could not be displayed. They contact folder associated with this address list could not be opened. It may have been moved or deleted, or you do not have permission." What's odd is that the contacts (and addresses) are clearly there, but Outlook can't seem to find them. Any suggestions? Thanks |

Thanks This is asked and answered again and again and again in the Outlook groups - did you do ANY searching at all before posting? How was the pst file "installed" on the new computer? |
