Default sending email while away problem

Hi All,

I use a demon account at home, but sometimes have to visit other parts
of the UK, friends and relations etc.

They have BT accounts. Try as I have done, I can't get my email to leave
while I'm with them.

I get my incoming Pop3 with no problems direct from demon, even while
linked to the BT, but the outgoing will not work for me

Is there a tutorial or can someone give advice as to what I need to set
up or change

System is Main PC using Turnpike no problems, but Laptop uses Outlook
2003, POP3 incoming SMTP outgoing.

TIA Kevin

You probably have to modify the account to authenticate
Demon help should tell you

Wonderful

Demon said phone BT,

Guess what BT said....... Phone Demon..

I have changed to what appears to be a logical email account set up, but
keeps failing, Back again next week to try again. Just looking for some
divine inspiration.

Regards
Kevin

If it's true that BT uses Yahoo as the mail provider, then configuring your
outgoing server to use the same credentials that the incoming server uses
and employing the Yahoo-specified ports (587 for outgoing, I believe) and
security should allow you to obtain your mail no matter what network you're
using for the connection.
