Default Can't move "Flag Status" column

I am running Outlook 2003 SP1 on Windows XP Pro SP1. I want to move the
"Flag Status" column to a more obvious location. From Customize Current
View = Fields it looks like it is possible to move it. I go through the
motions, but it does nothing. As a test, I used the same procedure to move
a different column and it worked fine. What is peculiar about Flag Status
that it always wants to remain in the rightmost column?
