Hi
XP Pro client with Office 2003. Outlook will not run. On checking task manager it claims to have an outlook process running. If I shutdown I get a WMS idle running error. If I end now on the wms idle, outlook runs. Any one help on this please? Thanks & regards, D |

WMS is Windows Messenger Service. If you're a home user, you shouldn't need
the Messenger service running. Try disabling it, you'll find it in services. The Messenger service is usually dependent upon other services to start. You may want to check your event viewer. -- Kathleen Orland Blessed are the cracked, for it is they who let in the light Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ http://www.howto-outlook.com/ "Daniel" wrote: Hi Many thanks but its not an issue of not closing it won't run in the first place until wms - whatever that is, is stopped. d "K.
