Default MsOutlook alocated too much memory, but..!

I don't know any good way to do it - but check with the terminal server
experts, they may have some ideas.

Do you know any 'trick' to minimize outlook.exe process of all users at a
Ms Terminal Servers?
because my TSs are overload :/

if I could minimize all this process a few times a day it's will be great!

show desktop don't work
WKey+M don't work too

skript in a module
"Outlook.Application.Explorers.Item(1).WindowS tate = olMinimized"
Monimize the outlook window but the outlook still keep more than 150MB
memory :/

if I only could free this memory a few times a day...

any idea?

The behavior you see is normal - Outlook generally takes as much free ram
as it needs and releases it when minimized. The size of the pst (should
not use offline stores with terminal server) or mailbox doesn't matter -
mine's over 2GB and I'm using 122 megs ram right now (Outlook 2007). It
should not cause problems on the server, unless you have it overloaded.
I'm not aware of any setting on the exchange server you can set to change
this behavior - but you should be using classic mode, not cached, to
avoid filling the terminal server drive with user data. If there is not
150 megs available, outlook will take what it can get.

Like I say,
when my MsOutlook started - it's alocated more
than 150MB phisycal memory.Summary size of files .pst and o.ost
is 30MB -size of this files it doesn't mater - I checked.

But!
When I minimize MsOutlook - then the outlook.exe process keep just
only 20-40 MB AND maximize window dont alocate more RAM memory
-it's still 20-40MB and i have ~100MB more free phisical memory

WTF?

when I have 15 users conected to Ms Terminal Server and they use
MsOutlook
it is a very serious problem for me - they need to use the MsOutlook- a
can't kick it out :/

PS MsOutlook use work with a Exchange Server - The Exchange it is out of
my jurisdiction :/

Any idea?

regards
Dalon
