Openning attachments question
Dear All
My problem is I have tow copies of Microsoft Office installed on my computer (2003 & 2007) so when I get an e-mail on Outlook 2007 with an Excel sttached file I tried to open it with Office Excel 2007 but it opens with Excel 2003. Any help will be appreciated also would you please send a CC on my mail Kindest Regards Thanks

Openning attachments question
Save the file to your computer, then right-click it and select "Open with".
Choose the desired version of Excel and make sure "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" is ticked. Any future attachments with the same file extension should now open with the correct version of Excel. Note: this procedure is for Windows Vista. The same should apply with XP but the wording may be slightly different. Also, I can't remember if XP had "Open With" on the right-click menu by default. You may have to hold down a Shift key while right-clicking. Of course, another option would be to simply uninstall Office 2003. If you do this you may need to reinstall Office 2007 afterwards.
