I just got the new HTC touch pro a couple months ago and now my screen
glitches and jumps all around the place. I already backed up my contacts
using this, I was wondering if there is any way to sync my existing text
messages with this as well?

Synching is not an Outlook issue. I suggest you consult your user manual
for the Touch.

that is a feature of the device and its sync software, not outlook.
