Default Contacts and Address pst file

How do you get the contacts file and the pst address book to have the same
data?? Just realized that when I start an email address it finds a name I
wanted with no problem but when I went to the address book that name was not
in there. I would like the address book to have all the contacts in it also.
Is there some way to sync the two??

The Addressbook and Contacts are already. The addressbook is only a view of
your Contacts folder. What you are seeing that is different is the
Autocomplete file

The address book is simply a filtered view of Contacts, there is no pst
address book.
If you start typing a name any entry you get is from a seperate cache file
(username.nk2 file) , which saves previously entered addresses, if these
addresses are not in your contacts you have to add them

The addressbook will only show those contacts that have an electronic
address: either an email address or a fax number.

Maybe the Contact is 'saved as' in a different format
Depending on version of Outlook, I believe, you can search the address book
using two different methods

In addition to what the others have said, make sure you're not using a
Personal Addrress Book file.

Gordon,
I checked this out and all the names in the contact folder have an email
address in them but some of them are not in the address book. I guess you
have to put the names in both the contact folder and then add them to the
address book. Is there a way to import the contacts into the address book?
That is what I would like to do is just delete all in the address book as I
find there is double and triple entries of the same person and want to clean
up the address book so it has the same info as the contact folder.

Brain,
Yes I am using a personal address book file. It is just my name TONY.PST.
Should I change it to outlook.pst???

The address Book is just a view of your Contacts folder. Are you SURE
you are talking about the Address Book and not the Autocomplete function?
