Make a folder in OE called Outlook Sent. Drag the eml's that you want in
Outlook to it and export from OE to Outlook every now and again.

Did I miss something? I thought that by making a specific folder,
there would be a way to import _just_ that folder into O2K from OE via
the sequence below***. What I've found is that the import function
imports _all_ the emails in OE to O2K. Is there any way to narrow it
down to just the one folder?

*** FILE IMPORT AND EXPORT... IMPORT INTERNET MAIL AND ADDRESSES
OUTLOOK EXPRESS 4.X, 5 (I have OE 6) -- making sure that I have only
the one radio button ticked, the one for "IMPORT MAIL" FINISH.

Also, I'm not sure if I should keep this question here or start a new
thread in the OE ng and ask it there. Pls advise.

Thanks

There is - export FROM OE. If you do that then you should (if I remember
correctly) be given the option to either export all folders or selected
folders. You should always do it this way anyway, because if you import in
Outlook, the modified date of all the imported messages changes to the date
of import.

When you export from OE there is an option to export everything or selected
folders. You want selected folder.

In OE - go to file menu, import and export, export messages, to exchange.

d'uh!!! That's what I did wrong. I was IMPORTING from O2K instead of
EXPORTING from OE!! Too funny!!! No wonder.

Brilliant, just did that and it works. Wow, amazing how I lived for
so long with all the emailing problems regarding a secondary email
program besides O2K! With some tweaking of OE locations and settings,
OE is taking care of things quite well. I'm very pleased.

Thanks so very much!
