Trying to help somebody who trashed his contacts by synchronising with
a new phone the wrong way (phoneoutlook), I tried Address Book Recovery from SysTools. It was useless, running it several times it only produced once a 'recovered' pst file that had no entries... I am still trying to get my money back. I managed to find a backup of his pst from last year that helped to restore his contacts. Anybody can point me to a procedure or utility that would help under these circumstances? J |

The only thing that would help is a recent backup, which apparently they
dont have. The MS outlook site has a free backup addin you might want to mention, this for future reference You could point out also how data backups are essential if you dont want to loose data wrote in message news ![]() Trying to help somebody who trashed his contacts by synchronising with a new phone the wrong way (phoneoutlook), I tried Address Book Recovery from SysTools. Changes made by synchronization are permanent. No one should ever sync
without creating good backups. Just restore from the most recent backup. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] wrote in message news ![]() Trying to help somebody who trashed his contacts by synchronising with a new phone the wrong way (phoneoutlook), I tried Address Book Recovery from SysTools.
