in the Inbox window ... at the top is:
From Subject Received etc The Receive column disappeared? How do I get it back? What is this group of columns called? Thank you Bill

Thank you Bill Right-click on the column header, pick Field Chooser, add whatever fields you want, drag the fields around to position them wherever you want.

Reset your view. ViewArrange ByCurrent ViewCustomize Current ViewReset Current View (if you're using Outlook 2002/2003). That is called the "Message list" - right click on one of the field names
