Default ScanPST not fixing errors?

Have run ScanPST about 5 times on a PST file and it still has errors after
fixing it each time. Should I keep on going, will the eventually get fixed?
Is this common? Thanks.

What version Outlook was the pst created in, and what size is the pst?
Can the pst be opened within Outlook?
Have you also run any HD checking tool?

Yes the PST opens in Outlook. Not sure when it was created but it is a
UniCode format. File is about 5GB.

What HD checking tool are you referring to. Diskdegrag? Yes I have run that
in the past.

Is the PST file in C? If so, move it to another partition and see if
that helps. When you open Outlook it will complain but offer a way to
point to where you moved the PST file.

It opens in Outlook on the C drive, it is just that ScanPST does not fix the
errors. It still has errors when I run Scanpst a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th
time. Should I move it to another computer and run ScanPST there, could
that actually make a difference?

No, wont change anything
Disk checking tools are supplied by your HD manufacturer
