Default ISP password for new email account in Outlook 2007?

I'm trying to create a new email account in Office Outlook 2007 and it tells
me I need to provide the p/w that was provided by my ISP. I do not know
where to find this. I have tried the Help pages and nothing seems to work.
Is there anyone that can help me with this?

did the ISP create an email account and password? Typically you ask the
administrator who controls the server that hosts the account for the
password.

Ask your ISP, or logon to your ISP account and look there
You cannot add an email account unless your ISP has created a new one

Of course, if they don't KNOW their username/password, they won't be able to
do the latter.

This is all at work and I'm new. I went through my control panel, user
options, mail, and followed the instructions for setting up a profile. I
then tried to set up my email through control panel AND through Outlook's
Account Settings. It keeps popping up that I need to enter the p/w that the
ISP gave me. How do I contact my ISP?

If it's at work, ask your IT people.

Call your IT folks or your company's helpdesk. Your ISP at work is
your employer, so ask your employer's crew that administers their
network. If you don't know who to call at work, call your boss and
ask.
