I gotta say you have made me a very happy chappy right now - I was getting the same error & have tried all day to work out how i was going to get my outlook working again, as i am 6hrs drive from home & did not have the Office discs with me & all my add/remove programs options was telling me was that my installation was corrupt. Thanks heaps - next time i will come here & look for the exact error that microsoft spits out, as i probably should have done in the first place.
