I corrupted my system and had to do a full re-install of my s/w. I don't
know how I screwed it up, but I somehow ended up with 2 Calendars in Outlook after I opened up my backedup .pst file. One named "Calendar", the other one named "Calendar(1)" .... Calendar1 apparently came from the Personal Folders section of my back-up. My main CALENDAR has no entries. I also can't remove it or rename it ... basically to make my CALENDAR1 my main calendar. The other downside is that any entires I make will not play an "alarm" - I get a message that the primary calendar entries can only issue alerts/alrams. So the short question is - just how can I fix this? Is there a way I can just COPY and PASTE all entires from my old calendar into the main calendar - and then I'll just remove the bad calendar. Thanks |

Change your Calendar view to All Appointments via the View menu. As this is
a table view, you can now easily select all the calendar items and move them to your other Calendar. For future reference, you might want to take note how to properly backup and restore Outlook as getting this Calendar duplication clearly indicates you have done something wrong in your restoration process ;-) You can find more information about backing up and restoring Outlook here; http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "Cody" wrote in message ... This is almost helpful, but not quite. I can't seem to find "All
Appointments" in the View menu. I was able to bring up all my recurring events in a table, and then transfer them from Calendar1 to Calendar, but I'm having no success viewing all the other items in Calendar1 as a table. I hope you can help. Thanks. I'm using Outlook 2003, SP3, and there is not an "All Appointments" view On May 26, 9:36*am, "Roady [MVP]" t wrote: Change your Calendar view to All Appointments via the View menu. So use another table view. "By Category" is a good one. Press Vtrl-A to select all the items in the folder, then right-click and drag the selection to the destination calendar folder. Choose Copy or Move when you release the mouse button. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

It works! Simple, but not obvious enough for the likes of me.
Thank you so much. |
