One post is sufficient..
Please don't cross post to multiple newsgroups multiple times. In Outlook...Export the contacts to a CSV file. Close Outlook. If you use a Live ID to sign in to Windows Live while using Windows Live Mail[WLM] and wish to use that Live ID with the same contacts present in Outlook....then logon to contacts.live.com and import the csv file into that Live ID. Once complete, check for duplicates. Logoff the web interface. Open WLM, signon with the same Live ID and allow WLM to sync with the web and build the local contacts database...do not abort the process.. If you prefer to operate WLM in the default account(without using a Live ID to sign in to Windows Live), import the csv file directly into WLM. WLM does not have an option to import pictures. If these pictures are attachments to existing messages in Outlook, save the attachments to an accessible folder in Windows Explorer for future use(edit, copy, attach, etc). ...winston ms-mvp mail "BipBop" wrote in message ... pictures are not supported in the export to live.
Are you using a live mail account? if so, use the outlook connector to upload the contacts to the server and then open the account in live mail. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: "BipBop" wrote in message ...
