Default Backing up e-mail account settings

Lately I've had to reformat my harddrive twice, causing me to have to
reinstall all my software applications, including Outlook 2003. I have moved
my default pst file to a separate partition, so all I have to do is import it
back into the freshly installed OL, but the pst does not include everything
I'd like to restore without having to recreate them all over again each time.
These items include:

1) Settings for all 16 e-mail accounts I monitor
2) signatures (I use Word as e-mail editor)
3) other personal settings not included in the pst file

I've noticed that all the rules I've created are stored in the pst file, but
when it is imported into the fresh OL, I have double set. One seems "normal"
while in the other set all entries have a parentesies attached saying "(For
the other machine)". Why does this happen, and how can I avoid it, or does it
matter?

Dont Import a pst, or Export for that matter
Within OL File/Open/Data File

Accounts stored in registry, one work around is to export mail settings to
OE save these in your backup. In recovered Sys restore to OE, then import
into OL
