Default Signature on replies not showing up with same look.

I am using the same signature for new messages and replies in Outlook 2002. When creating the new message, the signature shows up correctly with the image file in addition to the formated text. When I reply to a message, the signature shows up without the image and with the text looking like a teletype. I am unable to find the reason for this in the various options for the signature. Any help would be appreciated.

This might have to do with the format of the mail you're replying to. By default, if you compose in HTML and you receive an email in Plain Text, when you reply, your reply will also be in Plain Text. This can mess with the look of your signature.

You have two options. The first is to manually change the mail format. Though I wouldn't recommend that. Often a user will choose to send in plain text to save message size. If you reply to a plain text message with an HTML formatted message, that can bloat the size of the message and annoy your recipient.

The second is to remove rich formatting from your signature.
