Default Not receiving my e-mails

I recently downloaded Outlook and had our ATT support person walk me through
the steps of configuring it so I could send and receive e-mails. I am only
receiving e-mails from ATT and test e-mails within Outlook. I have tried
forwarding e-mails from my yahoo account to no avail and simply haven't
gotten any of the ones I normally get. Could someone give me some idea of
some things I could try to get this situation remedied? Thanks.

Do you receive any errors when you try downloading mail? Are you sure that
you're downloading mail from the same account that you're sending stuff to?

No, did not receive any error message; it progresses just like it is supposed
to.

Since AT&T uses Yahoo for their mail service, that you're doing is forwarding
from one Yahoo account to another. Log into the first Yahoo account and send
mail to your AT&T address. Then log into the AT&T account using your web
browser. If the message shows in the Inbox there but does not download to
Outlook, then we may be able to solve the problem. If the message never shows
up, Outlook has nothing to do with it.

I did what you suggested and the e-mails did show up in the prospective
inboxes they were supposed to. Is that something that can be fixed?

So let me make sure I understand. When you send a mail to your Yahoo-based
AT&T address and then log into the mailbox via your web browser, the message
does appear in the Inbox on Yahoo, but when you start Outlook and click
Send/Receive, Outlook does not download the message. Is this correct? Please
post the exact settings you've specified for your AT&T account (except for
your username and password, of course).
