Default Have I got a security problem in Outlook XP (2002)

My Tracking Option regarding Read Receipts is set to "Always Ask" (I have
also tested with Never Send but get the same result). I use a macro to
delete the emails which have been designated SPAM by my email server which
uses the .Remove method.

I have noticed that a very small percentage of emails still manage to send
off emails, to seemingly random addresses with "NOT READ" prefixed infront
of the original subject of the email, when they are deleted. The emails
which are sent contain information which I can not read. I have tried
manually deleting the original emails and get the same result so I do not
think that it is a problem with the macro deletion. I use Trend Client
Server Anti Virus software which is always up to date and my computers live
behind a Smoothwall firewall. I run Adaware regularly and also I have
visited the Norton site and run all of their checks and found no problems.

I would be very grateful for any advice on this subject, are there any other
settings within Outlook which I need to change or is this a problem with
Oulook that no one else seems to have noticed. I have set a rule on my email
server to catch all outgoing emails with "NOT READ" in the subject and put
them in a holding folder for investigation, I wonder if anyone else has done
that?

I hope that someone can help me.

Chrisg
