Does anyone have this problem?
I'm bedeviled every time I load Outlook now with "live search maps add-in for MS Office Outlook has found a later version......repair now?" I've deleted every bit of evidence I can of Windows Live etc and I've googled for answers as to how to fix this but I'm stumped. I have no evidence now of MS Live or maps or anything. Help appreciated. |

Did you uninstall it from control panel, add/remove programs? Do
appointments have the live maps tab and icon? (a calendar with a white shape in the corner). Thanks Diane for your fast reponse and help. I used my favorite uninstaller,
Revo, to thoroughly remove all entries and locations for Windows Live but your question helped me find that this mapping thing is built into Outlook. I'm in over my head since all I wanted was a good and complete calendar program. I couldn't find any icon but there are sections on the ribbon for "location" and "maps". Thanks again. Had you uninstalled it from the Control panel, Add/Remove programs, it would
have removed the custom forms. Check and see if its still listed in Add/Remove programs - if so, try to uninstall it. You may be able to fix it by changing the custom form back to the standard appointment form - download http://www.publicshareware.com/downl...ssageClass.zip and run it. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Do you keep Outlook open 24/7?
