PC bombed out and they had to reinstall all Windows system over again. I
did Excel & Word, having trouble with PowerPoint.... BUT they saved ALL of
our files for us.
NOW how do I find the email we had before 11-11-09. Do they have some jazzy
extension I can search for, or some how do a search for them. Using names I
know are there did not help. Any suggestions

Outlook Express is not the same as Outlook.

It's in a file with the extension pst - if you are using Outlook and not
Outlook EXPRESS. You need to be very specific about what you ARE using
because Outlook and Outlook Express use totally different files, and there
is no such thing as Outlook EXPRESS 2003.

There is Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express. Which are you using?

If you're using Microsoft Outlook, after creating your Outlook profile
click on File Open and browse to your PST file.

Depends how & where 'they saved all files'
Apart from the obvious as to what email program you were using
