Default Groups Headers

Is there any way to remove the word Conversation: from the group
headers? This would allow a much longer section of the actual subject to
be displayed when space is restricted (as it usually is here).

Bob

Version of Outlook?
How did you configure your conversation view?
It does not display it for me in Outlook 2007 nor in Outlook 2010.
Make sure you set your view to Sort By Date and to Arrange By Conversation.

Version of Outlook?

2007 running under Windows 7 - your reply made me look harder at the
settings, and it was arranged by Custom - a group of settings that
NewsHound automatically imposes. I switched it to "Conversation" and
added my normal settings and - Hey Presto! - the offending item
vanished. Apologies for wasting your time - I ought to have spotted that
myself.

Regards,

Bob

You can remove field names from the group headers.

1. Add the field to the view (if not present)
2. Right click on it and choose format columns
3. Change or remove the Label
4. Remove the field from the row of field name, if desired.

Thanks, Diane. Although I solved the problem another way, this will come
up again, so I've saved your message - at my age, memory isn't what it
used to be :-( - and will try that method when needed.

Bob
