Default Attaching many files

Someone needs to send me about twenty files using Outlook.

What is the easiest way for him to do that.

Maybe collect them by coping them all into one folder?

Then what?

Thanks

Don't think he know how to use WinZip or anything like that.
Can he just use Windows XP?
I know there are compressed folders but how do you attach a folder?

Thanks

yes he can. Select all the files (either using Ctl-click if they are dotted
about or Shift-Click if they are all next to each other), right-click, and
select Send To-Zipped Folder.

Windows XP can automatically zip for him. He just has to highlight the items
he wants, right-click and select compress or zip (whatever the option is).

After its zipped/compressed, he right clicks on the compressed folder in
windows explorer and uses the menu option to send by email.

You've already been told by several people that he should zip them,
and how he could do it.

That's a good way to do it, but let me also point out that twenty
isn't a very large number. Unless the files are very large, he could
also simply select all the files and then drag them all at once to a
message to you he's already started. That's a very easy way to do it.

Thanks for all the help.

As a test I tried sending to me a regualr folder (not a compressed one) but
Outlooked blocked it and as far as I could see would not let me have it.

I then tried a compressed folder and that worked fine.

Thanks to all again!

You cannot attach folders to an e-mail. You can only attach files. A
"compressed folder" is a .zip file.
