Hello:
My sister is not able to properly configure Outlook to send or receive email. She uses Earthlink, and they have triple-checked all the settings... they claim that it is an Outlook problem: When trying to send an email message (or pressing the Send/Receive button), we see this message: "Task Mail Account - Sending' reported error (0x8004010F): 'The operation failed. An object could not be found." This is a brand new computer (Dell XPS 400) with Windows Media Center operating system and Microsoft Office 2003 Basic Edition. All OS and Office updates have been downloaded and installed. We have also tried disabling her Norton Firewall, but still no luck. Does anyone know what may be causing this? Thanks, Jessi |
