Close outlook, find the pst files and burn them using your burner software.
To open the location, before closing outlook, go to file, data file management and select a pst then click open folder button to open windows explorer to the pst location. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Poll: What version of Outlook do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=27072 "Jimedean" wrote in message ... | I have Outlook 2007. | I have many personal folders. | Some I want to transfer to a DVD. | How do I burn a personal folder to a DVD? Assuming you mean PST files... Right-Click on the Personal Folder and determine their location on the computer. Example: "C:\Documents and Settings\Lipman\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst" Close Outlook. Open your favourite CD/DVD burning software (example: Roxio) Choose to create a data disk. Drag and Drop the file(s) on to the software or go through the software's process for adding files/floders to be burned. Burn the disk(s). Note that it is a good idea not to allow the PST to grow larger than ~4.5GB such that it can be be burned to a DVD. -- Dave http://www.claymania.com/removal-trojan-adware.html Multi-AV - http://www.pctipp.ch/downloads/dl/35905.asp |

To add to the two answers already given, do not burn your PST file to CD/DVD
at anything faster than 4x. You may find that it is unreadable if you burn at a faster speed. "Jimedean" wrote in message ... I have Outlook 2007. I have many personal folders. Some I want to transfer to a DVD. How do I burn a personal folder to a DVD? |
