My 4 accounts were set to 1 minute server timeout. I changed all 4 to 2
minutes each.

There is a router in place and will go there next if the timeout does not
address the issue.

I don't believe this is the cause. Reports of AVG causing a problem with
Outlook are exceedingly rare.

Do you have a router in the mix? It could be the router as well.

* A problem with a particular message.

Certainly a possibility, but not likely if a subsequent send/receive
handles the message cleanly.
