Where is that even located at? I see nothing that looks even remotely close
to that option. Thanks. -Bill "Peter Durkee" wrote in message ... Instead of Reply Using a specific template in your rule, use Have server reply using a specific message. -Peter "Bill Clark" wrote in message ... Running Exchange 2007 SP1 w/ Outlook 2003 clients. I have several "dummy" accounts that consist of a valid AD user, with a full mailbox attached that are used to receive emails to a generic address (ex: ). These mailboxes are shared with the necessary staff that monitors them, but no one actually logs in as the specified user. I need to add an auto-reply rule that will send a reply with a subject line and short message to any email received by one of these addresses. Out-of-office won't work in this instance, because I don't want the "out-of-office" subject line. I tried an auto-reply rule using a template, but it results in a client-based rule that won't work since these accounts are not actively running a client. A transport rule doesn't seem to work either, the reply options simply aren't there (or I'm overlooking them). So, what is the best way to achieve the desired results? Any ideas? Thanks. Bill |

I'm a DUH!! Nevermind...I don't know how in the world I missed the "Have
server reply" option. Found it and testing it now. Thanks Peter! -Bill "Peter Durkee" wrote in message ...
