For creating email messages in Outlook I like to use MS Word as my editor,
because I have a nice icon I use in my signature. Creating new messages this works OK. But when I reply to someone else Outlook refuses to use Word saying there is some incompatibility between Outlook and Word with the result that ActiveX controls cannot be run. So it goes to using Outlook's own editor and will not display my icons. I am using Windows XP Pro 2002, SP2 on a Dell, MS Office 2003, SP1. The thing is, all of this worked OK up until a couple of weeks ago. I don't think my security settings have changed. |
