Have de-installed/re-installed both the connector and outlook a couple of
times...any suggestions...

You get this error when doing what exactly?
What makes you think it is being caused by the Outlook Connector?

You are running an unpatched version of Outlook 2007 on Windows 7 which is
not supported. Apply Service Pack 2 for Office 2007, remove your Hotmail
account from Outlook, reinstall the Outlook Connector and then add the
account again.
