Saving outlook profile

I have a windowsXP SP3, installed on my computer with outlook2007 as my
default mail client. It has happened once a while that the mu user profile
has vanished and as a result my outlook settings, including email accounts,
rule and ... have disappeared. Is there any solution to this? How can I
backup my outlook settings that in similar cases I could restore my outlook.

If your user profile is 'disappearing' you have a fundamental problem with
your PC, or some one is messing with it
