Default Outlook 2000

I suddenly can not open Outlook at ALL! I get an error message saying
outlook has to close... when I click the link on the error message it tells
me to solve the problem I need to upgrade to 2003!!! I can't spend $300+ on
a new program! I want the one I paid for already to work! What can I do???

I dont think you are reading the link msg correctly.
Tried Detect / Repair from either add/remove dialogue or direct from
OL/Office installation cd?

No, I'm reading it right... I tried Detect/Repair and that didn't work, and
I tried to uninstall and reinstall, that didn't work... nothing is working...
honestly, it tells me to upgrade to 2003!!!

Have you tried a new mail profile, or are you using Outlook 2000 in IMO
mode?
