I have a very large number of folders in Outlook 2003. I want to set all
folders to "Do not archive items in this folder" and then configure the very limited set of folders for which I want autoarchive turned on. How can I set all of my folders to "Do not archive items in this folder"? |

The Do Not Archive overrides the per folder archive option. Try another

Thanks for your input Milly, however I'm trying to achieve the following:
I have innumerable folders and subfolders within my Outlook 2003 too numerous to manually configure the Autoarchive setting of each folder. I want to be able to configure the Autoarchive Tab of the Properties Page of every folder, to "Do not archive items in this folder". Then, I would like to manually configure the Autoarchive Tab of select folders to the desired retention period. Is there any way to configure ALL folders within Outlook 2003 to "Do not archive items in this folder" without manually configuring the Autoarchive Tab of every folder--a particularly cumbersome and onerous task? Any assistance on this would be most sincerely appreciated. James "Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]" wrote in message ... The Do Not Archive overrides the per folder archive option.
