When Outlook replyies to rtf or html formatted mail, it replies in same format.
We've all seen red letters on pink backround or similar. I want my replies to be plain txt format automatically. Currently im changing mail format manually, but thats inconvinient. Can this be done? Im running Office Professional 2003 on WinXP. TIA, Martin |

If you wish to see incoming messages in their original formats it can't be done. Outlook always uses the format of the original message when replying or forwarding. However, if you read all incoming mail in Plain Text format (click ToolsOptionsE-mail Options and select "Read all standard mail in plain text") then Outlook will present all your messages in Plain Text and your replies will all be in Plain Text. -- Brian Tillman |
