I am an admin on my xp pro machine; I copied pst, wab, etc files from
another account to my admin account, deleted the old account to start using the admin acct. The rules that came over say for "other machine" in the rules titles but when I edit the rules they say for "this machine".....? Help please. Thanks Bob W. |

You shouldn't use the Admin account as a default account, you should create
a User that maybe has admin privileges "Bob W." Bob wrote in message ... Thanks I have realized that but I am the only user of the machine and I don't
want to have any other accounts. I am trying to figure out why the rules title say for other machine when the details in the rule say for this machine? Thoughts? I am trying to figure out why the rules title say for other machine when the details in the rule say for this machine? Thoughts? Because rules also contain the name of the machine on which they were defined. Try renaming your PC (right-click My Computer, choose Properties, then the Computer Name tab) to match the name of the old PC. You can also try exporting the rules, deleting them, and reimporting them in rules wizard. -- Brian Tillman |
