I was having a problem with Office and the "missing SKU011.CAB" file error,
and could never get it fixed, so I uninstalled Office, and re-installed. Now, I don't have the missing file error, but Outlook won't run. I get a message that says "Unable to open default mail folders" when I try to open Outlook. All the other programs from the Office 10 CD have loaded OK and run properly. I have tried the re-install twice, and I've run detect and repair twice. Still the same problem with Outlook. |

It's quite an interesting bug, the old missing SKU011.CAB file.
http://blogs.msdn.com/robmen/archive...24/234029.aspx Have you downloaded and installed the latest service pack for that version of office as well? "Vol1" wrote in message ... ![]() Well, at least I don't have to deal with that missing CAB file anymore, and the problem I had posted yesterday has been fixed. Somehow, I was trying to load Office XP in place of the 2003 version of all the Office that I had on my system, and Outlook doesn't like that, for sure. I now have Office 2003 up and going, and Outlook is alive and well.
