Default POP Mail in outlook in a network computer

I use a computer with LAN at my office. How to get POP mails to outlook 2003
in my computer which is part of a network ? Kindly suggest required
configuration.

Default POP Mail in outlook in a network computer

Just add the POP account through Tools | E-mail Accounts. Make sure you
follow the instructions that the POP e-mail provider has given you.

Default POP Mail in outlook in a network computer

I have created the mail a/c but does not send/receive. I think some proxy
settings or port stting is required as my computer is in a net work. Can
thepop mail a/c be opened in outlook exp also in a network computer ?

Yeah, but if it works in OE it should work in Outlook. Do you get any error
messages when you try to send/receive? Are you clicking Send/Receive
manually or waiting for Outlook to do an automatic S/R?

Thanks!
It does not work in OE as well as Outlook. On opening in auto send/recv it
shows error as well as in manual send also. The error is 0x800cccod. I have
set the correct server names and it works well at my home computer which is
not in network. Definately this has something to do with network settings. Pl
try to solve my problem.

The only solutions I have found in my research are related to the server
names being wrong. You might try this article for some troubleshooting tips:

- but does not send/receive in other computers - this further information is
