Update for Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter (KB914454)
Downloading and installating this update caused my Outlook Express (Windows
XP SP2) to stop working; intial error message indicated that the address book failed to load and that Outlook needed to be reinstalled. Subsequent error messages appeared whenever I tried to open or create a message. I used system restore to renew XP to a point before downloading KB914454; Outlook Express worked fine. Windows then automatically downloaded and installed KB914454 again, and the same problem occurred! Another restore and I turned off automatic updates a less than ideal work around. Has anyone else had this problem? Suggested solutions would be appreciated. P.S. I'm a newbee, so sorry for any possible breach of etiquette....
