Default Unable to set up an exchange account on Outlook, deleted files

I am Unable to set up my company exchange account on Outlook. I think it's
because I deleted files since I'm also unable to find the modem again (it
says it's in use when I try to use it, but in the modem list in the control
panel it says it cannot be found.

We'll need more information from you to help you with this...such as your
Outlook version, what steps you've already tried, if you're trying to set
this up at work or at home, etc. And what files did you delete?

I don't remember. Last year, I deleted files from start up folders. In doing
so, many desktop icons were gone, and /or don't have access to them from the
"start button". I think it was only items from various "start" locations.

I have a Toshiba laptop a-10. xp professional. Office 2003. I tried a
registry cleaner program for 19.00 but that didn't seem to do anything, and
it had a guarantee, so I think I should just ask for a refund on that on.

Thanks, Alan
