Microsoft Office XP "Outlook" fails to open

Default Microsoft Office XP "Outlook" fails to open

I am trying to open my Outlook but it tells me "can't open outlook.pst files

I uninstalled, and deleted the outlook folder , re'installed Office, and
always the same problem , any help would be appreciated.

Did you set up a mail profile and define the PST in it?

No I didn't since I don 't want it to be my email sourse, but it was working
before, it just stopped.

A mail profile is required to use Outlook in any form. You need the
Personal Folders service definied in it at a minimum.
