AVG will be responsible for making a compatible version.

I am experiencing the same problem only it affects the forms and emails that
are generated on the web, such as the forms on our web site that email us with information that a potenital customer has filled out. We get the email with the contact and subject info, but nothing in the body. I received a birthday greeting which was generated from 123 greetings, and there was nothing to see or link to, so I actually had to go to my daughter and ask her to send me the link to the greeting card. Surely someone has an answer to this problem "Onesolo" wrote: Hello, I installed the new beta of the Office 2007, and the body of the new emails don't show up. If you're getting only blank bodies on all HTML-format messages, disable the email scanning feature in your anti-virus software. (For example, in AVG, uncheck certify under the email scanning settings.) You'll still be protected by its other features and by Outlook's own security, and new messages shouldn't lose their bodies. Messages you've already received, though, can't be repaired.
You can report other issues with the Report Rendering Problem button on the reading pane. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "bj" wrote in message ... I utilize Norton Corporate Antivirus and have the email feature disabled, as
well as turning it off completely and sending myself forms from the website and they still arrive blank. I just recently downloaded the 2007 Beta 2 and did not experience this problem with the 2003 outlook. I have sent numerous emails on the rendering problem but have not received any type of feedback. This is extremely frustrating since we have to email the sender of the form, and ask dumb questions like "How can we help you"?, when this is exactly what they used the form for. I cannot believe that the only answer is the antivirus software, since it was not a problem before the 2007 beta, so what is so difficult about correcting it at the source? I've heard some reports that changing the default "theme" for messages from "blank" to "none" can help solve some problems with blank incoming messages, but I haven't seen that myself.
Outlook 2007 no longer uses Internet Explorer for HTML mail rendering, which result in a more secure mail client in the long run, but with some frustration during the beta period. The rendering problem report feature is not intended to return any direct feedback to you. It is providing Microsoft with real-world data that should result in later versions of Outlook 2007 being able to avoid the problems that Beta 2 has. Keep in mind that It's a beta. You should expect problems with all third-party programs that interact with Outlook, until you've seen otherwise, and expect other problems as well. If the problems interfere with your work, then it should be obvious that running this beta is not productive for you. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "bj" wrote in message ... Absolutely correct and if I cannot overcome this problem, I will have to take
it out and go by to 2003, however, just so you know I had already learned of the theme thing and did that as well, but alas it still did not correct the problem. I will continue to work with it until something comes up to correct it, or it bugs me to the point of removing it. I am aware that a beta is just that a beta, however I now understand more as to why it is happening since you explained the fact that it no longer uses Internet Explorer for HTML, and I understand the security issue, so they will find a way to correct it, or go back to the old way I am sure. I did not know that rendering problems were not a way to contact them to make them aware of the problem, but now understand it is only a way to make them aware of the problem. Thanks for your informative response. Hi
I've used Office 2007 Beta since it's release without problems. I've been using AVG since before Office 2007 Beta. I upgrade this week to the latest version of AVG and found all my emails contained "Rendering Problems". I resolved this issue by removing the AVG scanning on emails. Unfortunately all previous emails cannot be read. Note that the previous version of AVG scanned the emails on Office 2007 Beta without any issue - so perhaps the error lies with the latest version of AVG and not Office 2007 Beta. Hope this helps you guys. Bobzter "Onesolo" wrote: Hello, I installed the new beta of the Office 2007, and the body of the new emails don't show up.
