Default How do I know outlook server info for e-mail, etc.

I am trying to setup outlook. I have never really used it. It is asking me
if I want to use POP3 or html as e-mail type. I don't know what that means,
or what the difference is, which would be better. It then asks me what the
server addresses are that I use for sending and receiving e-mail. I am on
msn.com, that is where I have always sent and received e-mail, I have no idea
what the address is. I don't mean to sound like an idiot, I consider myself
rather computer literate, but am lost here. Thanks for anything you can do-

What did you use before?

It is
asking me if I want to use POP3 or html as e-mail type. I don't know
what that means, or what the difference is, which would be better.

Contact your ISP for instructions on how to configure Outlook to access
their servers.

It then asks me what the server addresses are that I use for sending
and receiving e-mail. I am on msn.com, that is where I have always
sent and received e-mail, I have no idea what the address is.

If you pay MSN for mail access, contact them. If you use a free Hotmail
account, chances are you won't be able to use Outlook to access it.
